72 hours, no questions, full amount, in the asset you paid with. This page mostly exists to say that there is nothing else to it.

1. The window
Request a refund within 72 hours of an instance being provisioned and you receive the entire amount back — not a pro-rated portion, and not a credit note.
Ask from the console or by email. There is no form, no reason field, and nobody will call you to talk you out of it.
2. How it is returned
In the same asset you paid with, at the exchange rate on the day of purchase, to an address you supply at the time of the request. You are therefore not exposed to a price movement between purchase and refund.
Refunds are sent within two business days of the request. Network fees are paid by us.
3. Outside the window
After 72 hours, a term is not refundable. This is the trade that makes the price possible, and it is stated before you pay rather than discovered afterwards.
Two exceptions: if we terminate the service for our own convenience, we refund the unused portion in full; and if a sustained fault makes an instance unusable and we cannot fix it, we refund the remainder of the term without argument.
4. No refund
Accounts terminated for the conduct listed in section 1 of the acceptable use policy are not refunded, at any point in the term.
