لماذا الاستضافة في بولندا؟

Warsaw is where the Polish-facing stacks sit: web and commerce with a domestic audience, game servers for the Central European player base, and endpoints and mirrors serving users further east. It is chosen over Frankfurt when the users are local and the milliseconds are the whole argument.

الإطار القانوني

The GDPR applies, supervised by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO. Poland kept a twelve-month retention duty on telecommunications operators after the Court of Justice narrowed what member states may demand, and how far that reaches a hosting provider is, broadly, unsettled. We plan for it the only way that works: the list of what we hold is short, published, and the same in Warsaw as everywhere else. Polish law offers a provider shelter from liability for acting on a credible notice of unlawful content; we still forward the notice to you with its evidence first, and removal by us follows a court order or the section 1 list in the acceptable use policy.

أسئلة تخص بولندا

01Does Poland's retention law mean you keep logs about my server?
It does not change what we hold, which is an email address, invoices, your instance configurations and seventy-two hours of NetFlow metadata used for abuse investigation. The duty is addressed to providers of public communications services; whether any of it reaches a company that rents you a virtual machine has not been settled, and we would rather say that than guess in our own favour. If an order valid in Poland arrives, we produce that list and tell you unless a court bars it.
02Warsaw or Frankfurt for a Polish audience?
Warsaw, if the audience is Polish. PLIX and THINX put you on the domestic exchanges rather than hauling traffic west and back. Frankfurt is the better choice when the same stack also serves Germany and the Netherlands, and it has more capacity to fail over into. Every site costs the same, so this is only a latency decision.

أسئلة

أسئلة عن الاستضافة في بولندا

01Do I really not have to verify my identity?
Correct. Ordering requires an email address and a payment, and that is the whole list. There is no document upload, no selfie, no phone verification, no address check and no card on file. We have never run identity verification and we do not plan to start — the cheapest way to protect customer documents is to never hold any.
02What do you actually store about me?
Your email address, your invoices, the configuration of your servers, and 72 hours of NetFlow-level connection metadata used only for abuse investigation. Nothing else. When you close the account, all of it is erased within 24 hours except invoices, which accounting law makes us keep for ten years — those hold an invoice name of your choosing and no verified identity.
03Why can I only buy six or twelve months at a time?
Because it is what makes the price possible. Monthly billing means churn, idle capacity kept warm for people who might come back, payment retries and support load. Selling in terms removes all of it, and lets us buy hardware against known demand rather than a forecast. The saving goes straight into the rate card — a twelve-month Base works out around 20% below the six-month rate, and both are below what monthly billing would cost us to offer.
04How many IP addresses do I get?
One dedicated IPv4 and a routed /64 of IPv6 with every plan. Up to eight extra IPv4 addresses can be added at €1.20 each per month, assigned from the region's own prefix so geolocation stays consistent. A routed /48 of IPv6 is €2 a month if you are running your own network behind us.
05Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, on every plan, with no separate charge and no traffic threshold. Volumetric attacks are absorbed by hardware scrubbers at the edge and mitigation engages in under four seconds. The advanced tier adds layer-7 scrubbing and rules you write yourself, which matters for game servers and public APIs but not for much else.
06Is port 25 open? Can I run a mail server?
Port 25 is closed by default on new instances and opened on request — send a ticket saying what you are sending and to roughly how many recipients. It usually takes under an hour. Custom reverse DNS on both v4 and v6 is self-service from the console, which is the part that actually determines whether your mail lands.
