Cheap VPS that is actually fast

Most cheap virtual servers are cheap because something was taken away — the cores are oversubscribed eight to one, the disk is spinning rust behind a cache, or the price triples at renewal. Ours are cheap because we sell six- and twelve-month terms and buy hardware against orders we already hold.

Cheap VPS hosting

01

The price is the renewal price

There is no introductory rate. What you pay in month one is what you are quoted at renewal — and if hardware has got cheaper in the meantime, the renewal is lower, without you having to ask.

02

Cheap does not mean oversubscribed

Fair-share plans are capped at 3:1 on the host and we publish the fleet's 95th-percentile CPU steal, currently 1.4%. When a host drifts past 3% we stop selling on it and migrate instances off.

03

No bandwidth invoices

Outbound traffic is allowanced per plan and inbound is never metered. Exceed the allowance and the port shapes to 100 Mbit/s until the term rolls over. We do not send overage invoices, because surprise bills are how cheap hosting stops being cheap.

04

Where the money actually goes

No sales team, no channel partners, no card processing fees, no fraud scoring vendor, no identity verification vendor. Roughly 71 cents of every euro goes into hardware, power, transit and the nineteen people who keep it running.

Domande

Domande frequenti

01Why can I only buy six or twelve months at a time?
Because it is what makes the price possible. Monthly billing means churn, idle capacity kept warm for people who might come back, payment retries and support load. Selling in terms removes all of it, and lets us buy hardware against known demand rather than a forecast. The saving goes straight into the rate card — a twelve-month Base works out around 20% below the six-month rate, and both are below what monthly billing would cost us to offer.
02How can it be this cheap and still be fast?
Three reasons, none of them exciting. We buy last-generation-plus-one EPYC hosts outright instead of renting capacity from a hyperscaler. We sell terms, so a host is full the day it is racked instead of three months later. And we do not employ a sales team. What we do not do is oversubscribe past 3:1 on fair-share plans or past 1:1 on dedicated-core plans — the numbers on the performance page come from production hosts under real load.
03What if the server is not what I expected?
Ask for a refund within 72 hours of provisioning and you get the whole amount back, in the asset you paid with, at the rate on the day of purchase. No form, no reason, no retention call. Run every benchmark you like inside that window — that is precisely what it is for.
04What happens at the end of a term?
We email you 30, 7 and 1 days before it ends with a renewal invoice. Nothing auto-charges, because we hold no payment method. If the term lapses the server is suspended, kept intact for 10 days, and only then destroyed. If hardware has got cheaper since you signed up, the renewal is quoted at the current lower rate rather than the one you originally paid.
