01

First five minutes on a new instance

  1. 1ssh [email protected] — credentials are in the provisioning email, or use the key you supplied.
  2. 2adduser you && usermod -aG sudo you — then disable root login in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.
  3. 3ufw allow OpenSSH && ufw enable — the firewall is open by default so nothing locks you out at boot.
  4. 4unattended-upgrades is preinstalled on Debian and Ubuntu images and already enabled.
02

Set reverse DNS

  1. 1Console → the instance → Network → Reverse DNS.
  2. 2Set the PTR for both the IPv4 and the IPv6 address. The v6 record is the one large mail providers check.
  3. 3Propagation takes a couple of minutes. Verify with: dig -x your.ip +short
03

Open port 25

  1. 1Open a ticket saying what you are sending and to roughly how many recipients.
  2. 2It usually opens within the hour. There is no volume commitment.
  3. 3Set SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the v6 PTR before the first send.
04

Restore from a backup

  1. 1Console → the instance → Backups → pick a restore point.
  2. 2Restoring in place replaces the disk; restoring to a new instance leaves the original untouched.
  3. 3A 200 GB restore takes about four minutes on Gen4 NVMe.
05

Resize without losing the disk

  1. 1Upgrades apply at any time and are pro-rated across the remaining term.
  2. 2Memory and vCPU changes need a reboot; disk grows online with no downtime.
  3. 3Downgrades apply at the end of the current term.
06

Recover a locked-out instance

  1. 1Console → the instance → VNC console. It is out-of-band, so a broken firewall does not block it.
  2. 2Or boot the rescue system, mount the root volume and fix the configuration from there.
  3. 3Neither needs a ticket, and neither destroys data.

Veelgestelde vragen

01Do I really not have to verify my identity?
Correct. Ordering requires an email address and a payment, and that is the whole list. There is no document upload, no selfie, no phone verification, no address check and no card on file. We have never run identity verification and we do not plan to start — the cheapest way to protect customer documents is to never hold any.
02What do you actually store about me?
Your email address, your invoices, the configuration of your servers, and 72 hours of NetFlow-level connection metadata used only for abuse investigation. Nothing else. When you close the account, all of it is erased within 24 hours except invoices, which accounting law makes us keep for ten years — those hold an invoice name of your choosing and no verified identity.
03Why can I only buy six or twelve months at a time?
Because it is what makes the price possible. Monthly billing means churn, idle capacity kept warm for people who might come back, payment retries and support load. Selling in terms removes all of it, and lets us buy hardware against known demand rather than a forecast. The saving goes straight into the rate card — a twelve-month Base works out around 20% below the six-month rate, and both are below what monthly billing would cost us to offer.
04How do I pay?
Cryptocurrency, through OxaPay. Forty-two assets are accepted, including Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum, TON, Solana, Tron and USDT on several chains. You are quoted in euros, the invoice locks a rate for the payment window, and provisioning begins on the first network confirmation — typically under two minutes on Monero or Litecoin.
05What if the server is not what I expected?
Ask for a refund within 72 hours of provisioning and you get the whole amount back, in the asset you paid with, at the rate on the day of purchase. No form, no reason, no retention call. Run every benchmark you like inside that window — that is precisely what it is for.
06How can it be this cheap and still be fast?
Three reasons, none of them exciting. We buy last-generation-plus-one EPYC hosts outright instead of renting capacity from a hyperscaler. We sell terms, so a host is full the day it is racked instead of three months later. And we do not employ a sales team. What we do not do is oversubscribe past 3:1 on fair-share plans or past 1:1 on dedicated-core plans — the numbers on the performance page come from production hosts under real load.
07No KYC — so anything goes?
No. No identity checks means we do not care who you are; it does not mean we do not care what leaves our network. Phishing, spam, malware distribution, botnet command-and-control, credential stuffing, outbound attacks and material involving minors get the instance terminated immediately, without refund and without appeal. The acceptable use policy is two pages, written in plain language, and we apply all of it.
